This is where my learning happens in public. Tools, games, and case studies built at the intersection of AI and community need — by someone who has spent 25 years in communications, PR, and event management, and is now building the next chapter with intention.
I founded Communicate IT in 1999 and have spent the decades since helping organisations communicate clearly, manage complexity, and show up credibly when it matters. That background — in PR, communications strategy, and event management — shapes everything I build here.
My-Edge.ai is where I document what happens when those disciplines meet AI. Not hype, not shortcuts. Real tools built for real people, tested in real communities. Golden Bay is a long way from Silicon Valley, and that distance turns out to be an advantage — the problems here are genuine, the feedback is direct, and the stakes are human-scale.
Everything on this site started as a practical problem someone I know actually had.
Educational games built for learners who need a different approach. Started with a real request from a real teacher aide. Kim's Game is first.
Explore →Real projects, honest reflections. Starting with the Tinbum Triathlon race management system and a volunteer roster tool built for a local school.
In progressSmaller builds, prototypes, and things that didn't quite work — documented because the process matters as much as the outcome.
